The Ark Istanbul Apartments are placed in a registered historical building located in Karaköy, one of the most historical and characteristic neighbourhoods of Istanbul. These apartments near the Sea where the Bosphorus connects to the Golden Horn are housed in a building called Gümrük Han which means custom-house. Indeed, Gümrük Han since its construction in the late XIX century has served as an Ottoman custom-house. Later, changing its function, it was divided in a number of offices for the trade of small construction material. The Ark Istanbul Apartments is a great accommodation choice.
