Ideal for those who want to be in close contact with nature, the Casa do Calhau Grande Farm house is divided into 6 apartments, which give you all of the comfort of staying in the your own home as well as being surrounded by Madeira's stunning countryside and coastline. Staying here you can prepare your meals with local farmer's produce, bought at the nearby market, and explore the island's beautiful coastline or the Laurissilva Forest further inland. There is a swimming pool in the grounds and to assist you in your adventures, you can rent a bike from the management as well as walking sticks and rain coats.
