The hotel was built with a great artistry in Monodendri, Zagori (Ioannina - Greece). Monodendri is one of the most beautiful villages of Zagori, built 1060 m above the sea level, 39 km from Ioannina. It was named after a very big fir-tree which was situated there until 1840. Until 1753 it was a settlement which consisted of three quarters (Vitsa, Ano Mahalas, Agios Georgios). In the 17th and 18th century it enjoyed great prosperity when benefactors endowed it with mansion houses, churches and schools. The benefactors Rizari Bros come from Monodendri. Nowadays, Monodendri is an attraction pole for all the visitors from Greece or abroad the whole year round.
